Happy New Year to everyone! May your new year be blessed with abundance, peace, prosperity and bountiful spiritual and material good fortune!
I don’t often tweet that much about jewelry, even though it’s one of my great passions in life. In 2016 I was MOST interested in the outcome of the presidential election, since my entire trade depends on a thriving economy, where people have enough disposable income to be able to afford good investment-grade jewelry.
And so it behooved me to work hard to make sure my guy won. And he did. I am most definitely a CONSERVATIVE Cherokee after 61 years of living, and if you are bothered or offended by that, then I am not the place for you to shop. But if you keep your politics separate from your jewelry tastes, how wonderful! You’ll enjoy browsing my collection when it goes back online. I look for and specialize in the exceptional. I also collect other kinds of new and vintage jewelry which is not necessarily Native made, but which displays quality of design, highly skilled craftsmanship, superior grade gemstones and overall a unique or unusual flair.
I had fun a few weeks ago with the hashtag #SassyCherokeeLady and tweeted out some morsels of wisdom for the world at large. Here they are. Follow me on Twitter to enjoy some fun friendly banter about just about anything from food to pets to nature including the jaw-dropping physical beauty of my beloved Oregon Coast, where I make my home.
When my collection goes back online I‘ll tweet an announcement with some sale items to inspire new collectors to dive into the fascinating world of vintage old pawn Native American made jewelry, antiques, art glass, collectibles and more. Thank you for stopping by to visit my little outpost in the digital universe. – Leigh
